Frequently Asked Questions

We know downtime’s the last thing you want. Whether you're running a fleet, hauling with a single rig, or managing equipment and RVs, questions come up. Below are some of the ones we hear most often—along with straight answers you can actually use.

What does a PM consist of?

A PM (preventive maintenance) includes things like oil and filter changes, brake inspections, fluid checks, tire pressure, battery testing, and an overall health check. It’s about preventing breakdowns—not just fixing them after the fact.

Why is my truck completely dead?

Could be a battery, starter, alternator, bad ground, or something in your electrical system. We’ll usually start with a scan and a load test to zero in on the issue quickly.

How do I know if my driveline is bad?

If you feel vibrations, hear a clunking noise during acceleration, or notice your truck pulling to one side, it could be the driveline. Don’t ignore it—left too long, it can cause major damage.

What causes axles to go bad?

Heavy loads, bad roads, and worn bearings. Leaking seals and poor alignment also play a role. If you're hearing grinding or noticing weird tire wear, it's time to get it checked.

What’s the most common RV repair?

Roof leaks top the list—followed by slide-out issues and electrical problems. RVs deal with a lot of movement and exposure, so even small issues can grow fast if left alone.

Can a bad EGR cause power loss?

Yes, absolutely. A stuck EGR valve can reduce airflow, trigger engine lights, and tank your fuel economy. Cleaning or replacing it can bring your engine back to life.
